The Port Authority of Patras S.A., as the successor legal entity to the Port Fund of Patras, was established following the enactment of Law 2932\/2001<\/span><\/a>. It is a single-member public company under the jurisdiction of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) (Government Gazette 2996\/B\/12-11-2012).<\/a><\/span><\/p>

The structure, management, and overall operation of the Port Authority are governed by the Statute of Law 2932\/2001<\/a><\/span>, as amended (latest amendment: registration number G.E.MI. 2675511\/08-11-2021), and additionally by Law 2190\/1920<\/span><\/a> as amended and in force.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It caters to passenger and commercial needs for Southern and Central Greece.
